NB: Registering an account provides access to our ‘Rescue Zone’ which contains information and resources aimed at pigeon rescues in the UK.

Accounts should only be registered by people working or volunteering with an established UK pigeon rescue. A pigeon rescue is an individual or group who can be contacted by members of the public for help with sick or injured pigeons. If you are caring for a pigeon or pigeons you have found yourself, we would term you a finder – we are not able to provide advice or testing to finders and would urge you to use helpwildlife.co.uk to find a rescue in your area to provide experienced care for the bird/s.

If you care for pigeons you purchased or adopted, we would term you a keeper – we are not able to provide advice or testing to keepers and would urge you to consult a vet. As long as your pigeons are not exploited for sport, food, or money, you can purchase lateral flow tests from us at pigeonproject.org.uk/private-test-purchase/

Accounts which are not linked to a UK pigeon rescue will be removed.

All we ask in return for our free and discounted faecal testing, is that we can contact you or refer people with sick/injured/lost pigeons to you. The simplest way to fulfil this is to register in the HelpWildlife directory. There are different sections in the directory including one for individual rehabbers (called 'Reserves') which is only visible to our volunteers so you won't get overwhelmed.
